This is Syn, a personal project character that I have been working on between paid contracts.
I have treated the process as an opportunity to refine my character workflow and learn some new techniques along the way.
One of my biggest takeaways from this is using "Hair Tool" in Blender for creating realtime hair. I have found it to be hands down the most enjoyable and friction-less method for placing and UVing hair cards in a relatively non-destructive manner. In the future I plan to make a bunch of hair and clothing variations for this character and maybe even sell a few.
